PT. Batam Textile is a vertical integrated Textile Mill established in1971. We have been manufacturing and supplying textile products for the industrial, apparel and home furnishing purposes since our inception.. Today, PT. Batam Textile Industry has grown into a high quality export - oriented mill with our sales activities spread worldwide.

Our mill is continually being up-graded with the latest state-of-art textile machines and equipment. Our spinning plant is equipped with about 60, 000 ring spindles and 4, 000 autocoro open-end rotors. In addition, we employ Saurer Hamel elasto-twisting machines which specialises in producing twisted stretch yarns with Dupont 'Lycra'. Our raw material consist primarily of raw cotton, polyester, rayon and polynosic rayon to produce pure cotton & cotton-blended yarns.

Our weaving mill is fitted with 350 sets of Picanol high speed air-jet and rapier looms. On top of this, we have a full range of well-known European auxilliary machinery ranging from warping, sizing, indigo dyeing, singeing & sanforizing. We are currently producing over 2 millions linear yards of Indigo Denim, Poplin, Sheeting and Apparel Fabrics.

We also have a very sophisticated dyeing, finishing and printing plant with a production capacity of over 3 millions linear yards of finished fabric every month. We can provide a variety of special finishing including pre & post-cured wrinkle-free finish, oil/ water repellent finish, teflon finish, calendaring/ chintz finish and emerizing/ peach-skin finish. Our printing plant employs one set of flat-screen printing machine and one set of rotary screen printing machine which can print up to maximum 12 colours. We can supply a variety of prints including reactive, vat, pigment, discharge and resist prints.
